    BT wins PepsiCo
    BT today announced that BT Americas Inc. has signed a seven year managed services agreement with PepsiCo Inc. (NYSE: PEP). With this agreement, BT will provide and manage an integrated portfolio of data, LAN, security, conferencing, remote access, and Internet services to support the information technology (IT) requirements for the PepsiCo International division of PepsiCo. Under the terms of the contract, BT will manage PepsiCo International’s local and wide area network infrastructure across more than 900 locations in more than 60 countries. In addition, BT will migrate these services to a state-of-the-art, high-speed, IP-based global MPLS infrastructure. — November 16, 2006

    BT today announced that it has signed a contract over 2 years to manage Microsoft’s global OneCall call center routing initiative. Under the agreement, BT will design, build, deploy and manage a solution to unify and manage Microsoft’s contact centers throughout the world into a single network-based contact center environment. The contract calls for an 18-month deployment schedule across 77 Microsoft call centers around the world, with potential to expand to more than a hundred centers globally.
